This 1992 RENNtech 400E 6.0 began life as a US spec 400E which was modified by RENNtech for its first owner in 1993. The high-performance engine build increased the displacement of the stock 4.2-liter M119 -engine to 6.0 -liters, and the power from 275 HP and 295 LB-FT to 385 HP and 457 LB-FT of torque. The current owner acquired the car from the original owner through Auto/Aero Toy Store in 2000. The second owner added further RENNtech upgrades, including RENNtech Big Brake kit measuring 14” in front (Alcon), BBS wheels, RENNtech Stainless Steel Muffler, and Performance Radiator which were installed by RENNtech in Lake Park, FL in 2005. The aftermarket Alpine stereo head unit was installed under current ownership. Part of a private collection, the E400 6.0 has covered 36k miles since new with approximately 5k miles added by the current owner since 2000. The original black paint (040) extends to trim and grill and shows minimal wear and marks, while the dove gray leather interior and burl wood trim are in excellent condition. (paint measure) Recent service: Brake fluid, coolant fluid, 4 new Pirelli tires, alignment, headlight surrounds, re-paint front black grill, new wiring harness (starter harness, knock sensors, oil pressure sensor), fuel system (pumps, stainer, filter, lines and seals) bumper guards, trunk lid handle and stops, new hood pad, shifter bushings, transmission service (trans pan, filter, gasket, seals, oil and lines), fan belt, spindle bushings, oil service, exterior and interior detail completed at RENNtech. Engine performance was tested on RENNtech’s in-house Dynamometer in preparation for sale. This RENNtech 400E 6.0 offers a rare opportunity to acquire a highly original and well-preserved build from RENNtech 30 years after its original build date. Included in the sale are two keys, books, partial service documents, and a RENNtech Certificate of Authenticity signed by Hartmut Feyhl.
