Mercedes-Benz 600 SEL - S76R

The W140 -chassis Mercedes-Benz S-class may be the most refined and technologically advanced passenger vehicle of its era. Re-imagined for 2022, the RENNtech S76R was built to the highest spec around the RENNtech built M120 V12 engines and further developed utilizing modern technology.   On the exterior the black S76R features a aero package and custom RENNtech wheels. The aesthetic upgrades include AMG ground effects all around, a trunk lip spoiler with 3rd brake light, a custom-made front splitter and custom louvered side moldings. The one-of-a-kind forged RENNtech aluminum wheels measure 19 x 9" in the front and 19 x 10.5" in the rear with 255 / 40 (F) and 295 / 35 (R) Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires. The S76R is equipped with a upgraded suspension featuring 20 mm shorter coil springs and 2nd generation ADS -system for the perfect ride height, stability and planted look. The S76R was features a custom interior and trim, with black diamond stitched leather upholstery, a leather dash, Alcantara headliner, and carbon fiber inlays. The rear bench seat was replaced with fully adjustable individual rear passenger seats and the sound system upgraded to a iPhone compatible unit with new speakers all around.  Under the hood the M120 V12 engine has been bored out to 92 mm and stroked to 95 mm transforming the 6.0L powerhouse into a massive 7.6 liters. For optimum results a ME-1 engine management system was installed together with a handmade wiring harness and RENNtech ECU tune. The ME-1 engine management conversion and programing was highly tedious and time-consuming process working from the ground up.  RENNtech engineered a custom exhaust system handmade for the V12 along with equal length stainless steel headers, a full-length exhaust with quad mufflers and sport catalytic converters. The exhaust system increased the power output and gave the V12 a sophisticated snarl throughout the gears.  To support the power increase, the old 4-speed transmission was replaced by a 5 speed (722.6) version, and a OS Giken limited slip differential was added for handling the additional power and provide optimal traction. A bespoke AMG Carbon Ceramic brake system was created by RENNtech engineering to fit the W140 chassis. Equipped with carbon ceramic discs, 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers and a 2nd generation M.B. ABS system the S76R has superior braking capability to match the power weight of the vehicle.  Producing 610 HP/ 653 LB FT of torque at the crank, this resto mod measures up to today’s modern executive sedans in performance, class, and style.
